Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional strategy to achieve sales targets (sell-in and sell-out) and analyze business performance metrics including sales by door, product category, turnover, and sell-out/sell-in ratios
- Monitor competitive landscape, market trends, and local dynamics to identify risks and opportunities; recommend strategic distribution openings, closures, and optimizations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key wholesale partners including owners, buyers, store managers, and sales associates
- Lead commercial negotiations covering product assortment, sell-in targets, space allocation, and partner investments
- Drive sell-out performance through continuous follow-up, in-store support, and proper execution of commercial policies
- Oversee performance and operations of franchise boutiques, ensuring operational excellence and KPI monitoring (traffic, conversion, clienteling)
- Ensure consistent brand expression across all wholesale and franchise partners through visual merchandising guidelines and product presentation optimization
- Develop and execute co-op marketing plans and local activations aligned with brand strategy
- Monitor KPIs including stock levels, rotation, and productivity per door; conduct regular business reviews with partners
- Define and optimize product assortments based on store performance, client profile, and business objectives
- Deliver product and brand training to retail partners to strengthen knowledge and sales performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Retail, Business Development, Finance, Merchandising) and provide field feedback to support strategic decisions
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in wholesale or retail leadership within luxury sectors (watches, jewelry, fashion, or beauty)
- Deep understanding of selective distribution and luxury retail environments
- Proven track record in driving sales performance and business development
- Strong analytical capabilities with ability to translate data into actionable strategies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Leadership presence with demonstrated ability to influence across multiple stakeholder groups
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Willingness to travel extensively within territory (80% travel requirement)
