Hour Passion (The Swatch Group) seeks a Sales Assistant (temporary, full-time) in Fiumicino, Italy — client-facing role selling watches and jewellery.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, consultative client service to an international clientele, guiding product selection and delivering personalised recommendations for watches and jewellery.
- Achieve daily and monthly sales targets through active selling, upselling and follow-up client engagement.
- Operate the point-of-sale system, manage cash and card transactions, and ensure accurate processing of sales, returns and warranty paperwork.
- Maintain boutique standards: visual merchandising, stock replenishment, inventory control and loss-prevention procedures.
- Provide after‑sales support including basic servicing intake, warranty handling and liaison with central service centres when required.
- Contribute to clienteling activities: capture customer data, schedule appointments and support CRM-driven retention initiatives.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or sales experience, preferably within watches, jewellery or luxury accessories.
- Strong client-facing communication skills and a polished professional presentation.
- Numeracy and experience with POS transactions, cash handling and basic inventory tasks.
- Availability to work full-time on a temporary contract including weekends and peak trading periods.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining high autonomy on the shop floor.
Experience
Preferably 1–3 years of direct retail or luxury sales experience; experience with watches or jewellery retail highly desirable.
Education
Secondary education (high school diploma) required; vocational training in retail, sales or luxury goods is an asset.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Fiumicino, Lazio, Italy, with easy access to Rome.
