Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, consultative sales service to clients for watches and jewellery, guiding selection and closing sales to achieve boutique targets.
- Develop and maintain client relationships through proactive clienteling, after‑sales follow‑up and record keeping of preferences.
- Operate the point‑of‑sale system accurately, handle payments, returns and gift receipts; ensure cash handling procedures and reconciliation are observed.
- Maintain boutique standards for visual presentation and merchandising, including window displays and product placement according to brand guidelines.
- Support stock management: receive deliveries, perform stock counts, replenish the sales floor and assist with inventory controls.
- Provide basic product maintenance and demonstrate product features; coordinate with after‑sales/service teams for repairs or servicing.
- Contribute to store opening/closing procedures, health & safety and loss‑prevention protocols.
- Collaborate with the boutique team and district management to implement promotions, local events and operational initiatives.
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in luxury watches or jewellery or within upscale fashion/ accessories.
- Proven consultative selling ability and strong clienteling skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced boutique environment with international clientele.
- Professional presentation, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Availability to work full‑time on a temporary contract, including weekends and public holidays as required.
- Basic numeracy and familiarity with POS procedures; attention to detail for inventory tasks.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of customer‑facing retail experience, ideally within luxury boutiques or watch/jewellery stores; demonstrable achievement of sales targets is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational qualification in retail, fashion or sales is advantageous.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Fiumicino, Lazio, Italy, with easy access to Rome.
