Hour Passion is seeking a full-time Boutique Manager for its Metzingen boutique. The role leads and develops the team, oversees sales performance, inventory, cash handling, client relationships and visual merchandising, and requires at least five years of relevant retail experience and substantial people-management experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the team through coaching, regular feedback and clear objectives.
- Manage effective and efficient staff deployment and workforce planning.
- Deliver sales targets and key performance indicators, and report results to management.
- Structure onboarding and provide thorough training for new employees.
- Monitor, analyse and manage inventory to maintain optimal product availability.
- Ensure proper cash handling and maintain the cash book.
- Manage stockroom operations, monitor inventory levels and place orders in good time.
- Provide customers with knowledgeable, friendly and service-oriented assistance and advice.
- Develop a local and international client base and build networks.
- Oversee visual merchandising and ensure attractive, sales-driving product presentations.
- Handle complaints professionally and manage returns reliably.
- Inspect incoming goods and ensure deliveries are complete and meet quality standards.
- Prepare and conduct stocktakes independently and meticulously.
Qualifications
- Completed commercial training or a degree in business administration.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in high-end specialist retail or a comparable environment, ideally in the luxury or premium segment.
- Substantial people-management experience is essential.
- Experience in recruitment, motivating, developing and training employees.
- High levels of commitment, a strong service orientation and excellent organisational skills.
- Very good German and English; additional foreign languages are an advantage.
