Hour Passion is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for its store in Roermond to support sales performance, team development and premium store presentation, and to lead daily operations when the Store Manager is absent. The role offers a temporary contract with the prospect of permanent employment, leadership development opportunities and excellent employment conditions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coach, guide and motivate the retail team.
- Contribute actively to achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Set an example in service, hospitality and commercial conduct.
- Support staff scheduling, inventory management and store processes.
- Maintain a premium store presentation in line with brand guidelines.
- Act as the first point of contact for colleagues when the Store Manager is absent.
- Advise national and international customers on watch purchases.
- Coordinate repairs, after-sales service and customer-service processes.
- Identify commercial opportunities and act on them proactively.
- Share responsibility with the Store Manager for sales targets, team coaching and maintaining the store’s premium image.
- Lead the daily operation and direct colleagues when the Store Manager is absent.
Qualifications
- MBO+ level of work and thinking.
- Demonstrable experience as an Assistant Store Manager, team leader or in a comparable retail leadership role.
- Strong commercial aptitude and proven sales skills.
- Experience coaching and developing employees.
- Proactive, independent and entrepreneurial.
- Results-oriented while keeping the customer experience in focus.
- Strong communication skills.
- A professional and presentable appearance.
- Flexible availability.
- Good command of Dutch and English; additional languages are an advantage.
