The Visual Merchandiser creates cutting-edge visual presentations for Holt Renfrew store interiors and/or windows, styles mannequins, maintains merchandising standards, and collaborates with departments and vendors. The role is full-time, with an hourly hiring range of CAD 17.95–29.25.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create authoritative, cutting-edge visual presentations for store installations, including interiors and/or windows, and present merchandise to company standards to encourage customer purchases.
- Style and dress mannequins and/or create hard-goods presentations.
- Source and implement appropriate materials and props.
- Follow corporate guidelines, standards, and directives.
- Partner with various departments to execute visual initiatives.
- Rework presentations as merchandise sells down or consolidations arrive, ensuring new receipts are displayed to maximize impact.
- Rotate aged stock into the assortment to help drive sell-through.
- Coordinate signage placement.
- Work with external vendor specialists in merchant-designated areas or departments.
- Maintain established visual merchandising standards throughout store interiors and windows.
- Maintain the visual stockroom and visual and merchandising collateral.
- Respect merchandise protection standards and inventory requirements when selecting and returning merchandise for presentations.
- Comply with all Health and Safety policies and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with privacy policies, regulations, and cybersecurity measures.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of visual merchandising experience.
- Related fashion-school education and/or visual merchandising courses or diploma.
