Holt Renfrew seeks a Supervisor, Loss Prevention in Calgary to oversee loss prevention operations and lead a team of investigators in a luxury retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule Loss Prevention Investigators to ensure adequate store coverage and completion of duties to departmental standards
- Generate, analyze, and communicate reports on stock shortage performance, internal and external investigations, and fraud prevention metrics
- Review inventory accuracy and shortage controls to identify risk exposures and provide recommendations to achieve store financial goals
- Communicate store audit findings to management teams to drive operational improvements and excellence
- Ensure store compliance with all health and safety protocols, including timely completion of incident reports and safety measures
- Collaborate with store teams and departments to communicate Loss Prevention directives and Merchandise Protection Standards
- Partner with Store Operations on inventory cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy and support shrink reduction strategies
- Support the Loss Prevention Manager in developing and executing Security and Safety plans for store events
- Oversee review of exception-based reports to identify policy infractions and initiate internal investigations
- Conduct internal and external loss prevention investigations in collaboration with law enforcement and external agencies
- Lead, motivate, and retain high-performing teams through ongoing coaching, recognition, and professional development
- Ensure compliance with privacy policies, regulations, and cybersecurity measures
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Law Enforcement or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum three years of progressive loss prevention experience in high-volume, fast-paced retail environment
- Proven leadership capabilities with ability to deliver results through others
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Formal training in WZ interview techniques or related interviewing and interrogation methodologies
- Experience leading organizational change in rapidly growing business environments
- Current Provincial Security Guard License
- Standard First Aid and CPR OPA Level II certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and system-based tools
