Role & Responsibilities
- Provide in-situ task-specific coaching and on-the-job training to logistics team members
- Manage workflow within the team and assign daily tasks based on departmental objectives
- Partner with the Manager to ensure appropriate staff scheduling and workforce planning
- Ensure the swift delivery of merchandise to the selling floor
- Proactively identify trends in inbound shipments and schedule workforce needs accordingly
- Lead the coordination and processing of transfer requests from other store locations
- Manage and follow up with Sales Manager and buying office on delivery of all special orders (women's, men's, accessories and jewelry) to meet customer promise dates
- Review daily objectives and assign tasks appropriate to team capabilities
- Reinforce departmental standards and operational best practices
- Manage supplies including hanger inventories, wrapping materials, and packing materials
- Direct the safe and controlled storage of customer merchandise
- Ensure compliance with privacy policies, regulations, and cybersecurity measures
- Comply with all health and safety policies and requirements
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree, preferably in Business
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a similar logistics or warehouse operations capacity
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
