Holt Renfrew Sales Associate - Womenswear Designer, Toronto. Commission-based luxury retail position with $17.60–$24.00/hr base pay.
Role & Responsibilities
- Consistently deliver extraordinary service to all customers
- Exceed all sales and service goals and targets
- Build a loyal personal client base by acquiring new customers, developing existing clients, and retaining loyal clients
- Attend all educational sessions including product knowledge, vendor, and Holt Renfrew seminars
- Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes, and related sales support tasks
- Communicate regularly with personal clients through phone, mail, and electronic methods regarding in-store events, merchandise requests, sales follow-up, and birthdays
- Resolve customer service issues and collaborate with selling management on issues outside of guidelines
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety policies and requirements
- Ensure compliance with privacy policies, regulations, and cyber security measures
- Leverage social media platforms to promote personal brand and establish fashion influencer presence
- Use multiple technology channels to strengthen existing relationships and drive new client acquisition
- Proactively reach out to clients with curated views of new merchandise aligned with client fashion preferences
- Monitor new merchandise deliveries across all commodities to maximize selling potential
- Use Holt Renfrew 360 application to stay connected with clients and provide targeted suggestions based on purchase history and preferences
Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years experience in a commission-based luxury sales environment
- Consistent sales performance with demonstrated results achieving and exceeding sales quota
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holiday availability
- Highly collaborative and team-oriented mindset
- Strong understanding of current and emerging fashion trends
- Broad product knowledge across all merchandise categories
- Proficiency with multi-channel technology platforms for client relationship management
- Social media proficiency for personal brand development
Skills
Experience
Minimum 4+ years in a commission-based luxury retail sales environment with demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas. Experience developing and maintaining a personal client base is essential.
