The Personal Shopping Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Personal Shopper, coordinating appointments, client correspondence, merchandise preparation and suite readiness while supporting client service, loss prevention and compliance. The hourly hiring range is CAD 15.00–29.25; final compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, performance and local market conditions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments and maintain the Personal Shopper’s calendar.
- Review and manage correspondence, including drafting and producing official client invitations.
- Represent the Personal Shopper by telephone and email, providing superior customer service and ensuring professional, timely follow-up.
- Maintain client profiles and information, and track and interpret data to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and coordinate materials and merchandise for client appointments while maintaining required standards.
- Coordinate alterations, product transfers, COGs, holds and other services as required.
- Complete assigned duties and necessary errands to maximize the efficiency of the Personal Shopper’s schedule and work.
- Maintain merchandising standards in the Personal Shopping Suites and on the selling floor when removing and returning products.
- Ensure the suites meet Store Readiness requirements, including maintenance and housekeeping.
- Reduce or eliminate loss through effective loss prevention.
- Attend product knowledge sessions to become an expert.
- Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with privacy policies, regulations and cybersecurity measures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- Previous retail experience preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet.
- Fully bilingual in French and English.
