Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, consultative service to all customers, with emphasis on personalized product recommendations and client retention
- Exceed both personal and assigned brand sales targets and KPIs
- Develop and maintain a loyal personal client base through continuous customer acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies
- Demonstrate expert-level product knowledge and share insights with the broader selling team
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with buyers, vendors, and selling management
- Identify and execute key marketing opportunities, brand events, and assortment recommendations; communicate strategic suggestions to store leadership
- Attend all mandatory educational sessions including product training, vendor seminars, and Holt Renfrew development programs
- Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes, and related sales support tasks
- Engage clients proactively through phone, email, and direct mail regarding in-store events, product requests, follow-up, and personalized outreach
- Resolve customer service issues independently or in partnership with management
- Comply with all health, safety, privacy, regulatory, and cybersecurity policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in commission-based environments
- Minimum two years' experience in commission-based retail sales
- Prior retail sales experience as a product specialist in a luxury environment (preferred)
- Fully bilingual fluency in French and English
- Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated competitive drive and self-motivation
- Strong collaborative and team-oriented interpersonal skills
