Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver extraordinary, consultative service to all customers and build a loyal personal client base through acquisition, development, and retention strategies
- Exceed personal and brand sales targets while demonstrating mastery of product knowledge across the assigned beauty portfolio
- Develop and maintain relationships with buyers, vendors, and store management to optimize brand positioning and assortment recommendations
- Execute marketing opportunities and in-store events; communicate strategic suggestions to management on a routine basis
- Communicate proactively with personal clients via phone, mail, and electronic channels regarding events, merchandise, promotions, and lifecycle touchpoints
- Attend all educational sessions including product training, vendor seminars, and Holt Renfrew development programs
- Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, pricing updates, and related sales support tasks
- Resolve customer service issues independently and partner with management on issues outside established guidelines
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies, privacy regulations, and cybersecurity measures
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of commission-based sales experience, with prior luxury retail product specialist background preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability to consistently exceed sales targets in a competitive environment
- Fully bilingual proficiency in French and English
- Demonstrated capacity for multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to work flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Skills
Experience
Minimum two years of commission-based sales experience in a retail environment. Prior experience as a product specialist in a luxury retail setting is preferred. Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets and building personal client bases.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
