Holt Renfrew seeks a Designated Beauty Advisor for Aesop in Vancouver to build lasting customer relationships, deliver exceptional service and achieve individual and brand sales targets. The role includes clienteling, product expertise, brand events and sales-floor support; the starting base pay is CAD 18.25–29.25 per hour, plus commission, with final compensation varying by qualifications, performance and local market conditions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Build lasting customer relationships that increase sales, service and loyalty, and achieve the sales target for the assigned brand.
- Consistently deliver extraordinary service to all customers.
- Exceed personal sales and service goals and targets.
- Exceed the assigned brand’s sales and service goals and targets.
- Build a loyal personal client base by acquiring new customers, developing existing relationships and retaining loyal clients.
- Share expert-level product knowledge with the entire store selling team.
- Maintain strong relationships with the buyer, vendor and selling manager.
- Drive brand sales by identifying marketing opportunities, executing events and recommending assortments; communicate suggestions to store management routinely.
- Attend all offered educational sessions, including product knowledge, vendor and Holt Renfrew seminars.
- Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes and related sales-support tasks.
- Communicate regularly with personal clients by phone, mail and electronic methods about in-store events, merchandise requests, sales follow-up, birthdays and other matters.
- Resolve customer-service issues and partner with selling management on matters outside established guidelines.
- Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with privacy policies, regulations and cybersecurity measures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- Proven ability to exceed sales targets.
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to work with and through others in a team-oriented environment.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment requiring extensive multitasking with minimal supervision.
- Able to work a flexible schedule based on customer needs, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- At least two years’ experience in a commission-based sales environment.
- Previous retail sales experience as a product specialist in a luxury environment preferred.
- Entrepreneurial, competitive, self-confident and self-motivated.
- Fully bilingual in French and English.
