The Concierge delivers high-standard customer service to Holt Renfrew clients in a part-time role in Calgary. Responsibilities include managing inquiries, resolving routine service issues, processing gift cards, supporting sales and client services, and assisting with store events. The hiring range is CAD 15.00–25.25 per hour; final compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, performance, and local market conditions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide consistently excellent customer service to all clients, serving as their ambassador.
- Maintain expert knowledge of the store and product locations.
- Resolve routine customer service issues in accordance with policy.
- Manage incoming inquiries and requests in person at the information kiosk, by phone, and by email.
- Respond to internal and external client inquiries and complaints within 24 hours.
- Process gift cards for internal and external clients.
- Support the client services department as required.
- Support the sales floor as a POS super user.
- Build and maintain effective relationships within the concierge community to provide clients with an exceptional service experience.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with concierge vendors, including florists, ticket brokers, car rental providers, and restaurants.
- Maintain expert knowledge of the best local community and city offerings.
- Attend concierge events and information sessions.
- Assist with and participate in store events, including creating lists, collecting tickets, and managing RSVPs.
- Ensure plasma-screen text is current and relevant.
- Respond to event-related inquiries promptly.
- Ensure compliance with privacy policies, regulations, and cybersecurity measures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- Previous experience in a customer service environment.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and other computer software.
- Fluency in French and English.
