Holt Renfrew seeks a Beauty Advisor to develop deep, lasting customer relationships and drive sales growth within the beauty department. The role involves delivering exceptional service to clientele, achieving personal and brand sales targets, building a loyal client base, and maintaining expert product knowledge across luxury beauty lines. This position requires bilingual proficiency, 2+ years of commission-based sales experience, and a preference for prior luxury retail background.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver consistently extraordinary service and sales experiences to all customers
- Exceed personal sales and service objectives while achieving assigned brand sales targets
- Build and retain a loyal personal client base through continuous customer acquisition, relationship development, and retention initiatives
- Share expert-level product knowledge with the entire store selling team
- Maintain collaborative relationships with buyers, vendors, and sales management
- Drive brand sales by identifying key marketing opportunities, executing events, making assortment recommendations, and communicating suggestions to store management
- Attend all educational sessions, including product knowledge training, vendor seminars, and Holt Renfrew training programmes
- Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes, and related sales support tasks
- Communicate regularly with personal clients via phone, mail, and electronic channels regarding in-store events, product requests, post-sale follow-up, and special occasions
- Resolve customer service issues and partner with sales management on complex matters outside standard guidelines
- Comply with all health, safety, privacy, and cybersecurity policies and requirements
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability to exceed sales targets consistently
- Highly collaborative approach to working in team-oriented environments
- Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with high degree of multitasking and minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a commission-based sales environment
- Prior retail sales experience as a product specialist in a luxury environment preferred
- Entrepreneurial, competitive, self-confident, and self-motivated mindset
- Fully bilingual proficiency in French and English
