The part-time Audit and Control Associate supports Holt Renfrew’s Cash Office through switchboard, office, accounts payable and daily balancing functions, alongside financial support, audits and internal store services. The starting pay range is CAD 17.95–24.00 per hour; final compensation may vary with experience, qualifications, performance and local market conditions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide switchboard, general office, accounts payable and daily balancing functions within the Cash Office.
- Answer incoming customer calls according to company standards.
- Route calls accurately to recipients or deliver messages promptly.
- Maintain the location’s phone directory.
- Oversee repairs to technical systems, including POS systems.
- Provide financial support through bank reconciliations, invoice coding, petty cash management and chargeback investigations.
- Manage Customer’s Own Goods and other No Inventory Value/No Charge tracking.
- Maintain general office practices and a neat, orderly workplace to mitigate loss.
- Audit departmental compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support audits and follow up to ensure compliance.
- Execute internal store services, including general and procedural inquiries and employee parcel and bag checks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2–3 years of previous work experience in a similar environment; retail experience preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.
