Holt Renfrew seeks an Audit and Control Associate to manage switchboard, general office, accounts payable, and daily cash balancing functions within the Cash Office. The role encompasses financial support through banking reconciliation, invoice coding, petty cash management, and chargeback investigations, whilst performing department audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. The successful candidate will also provide internal services including general inquiries, employee parcel and bag checks, and technical system oversight.
Role & Responsibilities
- Answer inbound customer calls following company standards and accurately route to recipients or deliver messages in a timely manner
- Maintain phone directory for location and oversee repairs of technical systems including POS equipment
- Provide financial support through banking reconciliation, invoice coding, petty cash management, and chargeback investigations
- Manage Customer's Own Goods and other No Inventory Value/No Charge tracking
- Ensure general office practices are maintained and workplace is neat and tidy to mitigate loss
- Perform department audits of company policies and procedures and provide follow-up support to ensure compliance
- Ensure compliance with privacy policies, regulations, and cyber security measures
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2–3 years of previous work experience in a similar environment; retail experience preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
