Hermès seeks a temporary Welcomist for its Torino boutique—a customer experience-focused role delivering bespoke client service and hospitality.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients with warmth and hospitable professionalism, embodying Hermès Brand values and setting the tone for their boutique experience
- Build and nurture strong client relationships to identify needs, preferences, and wishes through attentive, personalized conversation
- Engage with clients while they await their Sales Associate, providing exceptional customer engagement and store-level knowledge
- Manage customer queues and flow using dedicated Hermès digital tools and applications on in-store devices
- Provide frontline assistance on complex customer matters including returns, reservations, and post-sale services in collaboration with Sales Associates
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and client visits to optimize the sales team's productivity and client experience
- Facilitate seamless communication between retail operations, online services, after-sales service teams, and reservation fulfillment to ensure timely order delivery
- Oversee and maintain the store's calendar of events and private appointments, ensuring accuracy and operational coordination
- Supervise and coordinate with external partners—including florists, catering providers, and maintenance vendors—to maintain the boutique in immaculate condition and ensure excellence in food and beverage service
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably with a linguistic or fashion and luxury industry focus
- Fluency in Italian and English; additional language proficiency highly valued
- Minimum one year of professional experience in customer-facing roles, preferably within luxury retail boutiques or hospitality environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general IT tools
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated customer service orientation
- Strong team player mentality with ability to build meaningful relationships and work independently
- Flexibility, availability, and dynamism to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 27,000 per annum.
