Hermès is seeking a Welcomist Intern in Rome to welcome clients, manage queues and support Sales Associates with appointments and customer visits. This is a full-time internship lasting six months, with an indicative gross monthly salary of €1,000 and a €10 meal voucher per working day.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients with a warm, hospitable greeting.
- Build strong relationships with clients to discover their needs and wishes.
- Engage with clients while they wait to meet the Sales Associate responsible for their preferred métier.
- Manage customer queues using a dedicated app on Hermès devices.
- Support the Sales Associates team by scheduling appointments and customer visits.
- Coordinate front- and back-of-house relationships with Operations teams to ensure delivery of online, after-sales service and reservation orders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus on languages or fashion and luxury.
- Fluency in Italian and English; a third language is an advantage.
- Proficiency with Excel and IT tools.
- Willingness to work full-time hours.
- Professionalism, enthusiasm, dynamism, and ease of integration and teamwork.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-service orientation.
- Team-player mentality and ability to build meaningful relationships and work autonomously.
- Availability, flexibility and dynamism to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to a people-centric retail project, with a vocation for human values, passion and a strong aesthetic sense.
