Hermès seeks Watchmaker Sales Advisor for Paris boutique, October 2026–January 2027 (fixed-term). Luxury horology expertise and multilingual fluency required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver consultative sales across the horology department whilst providing opportunity-driven, multi-category selling across all Hermès departments
- Ensure client wellbeing and comfort on the sales floor, proposing memorable and bespoke experiences in partnership with external relations staff
- Proactively identify and resolve client inquiries and requests, ensuring clients never experience periods of uncertainty or inattention
- Embody Hermès heritage and values to clients and new team members, consistently elevating the narrative of artisanal craftsmanship and technical excellence
- Build and autonomously manage a personal client database across national and international segments, ensuring systematic follow-up and relationship continuity
- Participate in inventory audits, merchandising updates, stock management, and maintain exemplary standards of departmental and store presentation
- Collaborate with store team members to achieve revenue targets and foster a cohesive, service-oriented sales culture
Qualifications
- Demonstrated sensitivity and passion for horological craftsmanship and timepiece mechanics
- Minimum 3 years of verified retail or luxury sales experience, with proven track record in client relationship building and revenue generation
- Fluent English language proficiency (both written and oral)
- Proficiency in digital tools and contemporary digital communication platforms
- Strong innate interpersonal warmth and generosity in sales approach, coupled with evident humility and professional exemplarity
- Autonomous client relationship management and personal portfolio cultivation capabilities
