Hermès (Suisse) SA is recruiting a Watches & Jewellery Expert in Zurich — deliver bespoke client experiences in Hermès' Zurich boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome each client and create an inviting, attentive atmosphere that enables personalised consultation.
- Guide customers through the world of watches and jewellery, articulating materials, movements, gemstones and artisanal techniques that distinguish Hermès pieces.
- Advise with enthusiasm and precision to support clients in selecting watches, jewellery or unique objects while proactively driving sales across all product categories.
- Leverage the omnichannel approach to enrich the client experience and convert digital opportunities into in-store relationships.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge through regular training on collections, trends and styling approaches.
- Collaborate with the boutique team to ensure a consistent, harmonious customer journey and contribute to shared commercial targets.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years' professional experience in luxury retail, with demonstrable exposure to watches, jewellery or high-end accessories.
- Deep technical knowledge of watch movements, materials, gemstones and jewellery craftsmanship.
- Excellent command of German and English (spoken and written).
- Outstanding interpersonal skills: active listening, empathy, and polished verbal communication.
- Autonomy, flexibility and confidence using digital tools and omnichannel retail processes.
- Service-oriented mindset, attention to detail and a strong aesthetic sensibility.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years in luxury retail or boutique sales with practical experience advising clients on watches and/or jewellery and meeting sales targets.
Education
Vocational diploma or equivalent; formal training in watchmaking, jewellery, gemology or luxury retail is advantageous.
