Hermès Paris seeks temporary Warehouse Operations Associate for iconic Faubourg Saint-Honoré boutique. One-month CDD contract, July–August 2024.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute product and packaging restocks before store opening and during business hours, maintaining seamless sales floor replenishment
- Identify and report stock discrepancies and anomalies to management, ensuring inventory accuracy and loss prevention
- Retrieve, organize, and properly return unsold presentation models to storage following customer interactions
- Perform multifaceted logistics operations including receiving, shelving, product preparation, labeling, and sector-specific inventory tasks
- Provide daily operational support to sales associates and cross-functional store teams, prioritizing responsiveness and collaboration
- Maintain optimal organization and cleanliness of storage areas and propose continuous improvements to warehouse efficiency
- Champion lean workplace practices (5S methodology) and actively participate in ongoing site optimization projects
- Operate with flexibility regarding shift timing (8:00 to 19:00) to accommodate store rhythm and seasonal demand
Qualifications
- Passion for retail and luxury retail environments
- Physical capability to lift and carry goods regularly, with comfort performing frequent movement throughout the store
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and service orientation with strong listening ability and responsiveness
- Proven collaborative spirit and team player mentality
- Proficiency with standard business software, including Cegid retail management system and Microsoft Excel
- Professional appearance and adherence to dress code (black trousers, black polo or pullover, clean and comfortable footwear)
