Hermès (Faubourg Saint‑Honoré, Paris) seeks a Visual Merchandising Manager to lead the flagship VM team and shape the store's visual identity.

Role & Responsibilities
- Define and own the Visual Merchandising strategy for the Faubourg Saint‑Honoré store, ensuring a distinctive, coherent and high‑quality visual identity across all areas.
- Lead, coach and develop the in‑store VM team (two Visual Merchandisers and a visual identity specialist); participate in recruitment, training and performance management.
- Plan and manage the annual, monthly and weekly VM calendar in line with store priorities and Group orientations; allocate budgets and human resources accordingly.
- Coordinate cross‑functionally with the Store Director, CODIR, Director of Customer Experience, Retail Merchandising, Communication, Retail Animation, PR, logistics and security to deliver integrated initiatives.
- Create and present VM projects, plans and commercial rationale to store leadership and stakeholders; translate creative intent into executable plans that enhance customer experience.
- Conduct commercial and visual impact analysis of installations and implement corrective action plans to optimise results.
- Support department directors on merchandising purchases by advising on presentation and collection valorisation.
- Deliver part of the operational VM work on a defined perimeter of the store and ensure installations can be executed discreetly during open or closed hours.
Qualifications
- Degree or professional qualification in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years' professional experience in visual merchandising, including demonstrable managerial experience.
- Mastery of visual merchandising techniques, window dressing, display construction and retail space planning.
- Strong aesthetic sensibility with ability to communicate visual intentions clearly and persuasively.
- Good commercial acumen and understanding of customer behaviour in a luxury retail environment; sales experience is an advantage.
- Capacity to work under pressure, with flexibility for evening and Sunday hours and discretion when working in open store environments.

Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in visual merchandising within luxury retail, including several years in a supervisory or managerial role; experience in flagship store environments and cross‑functional project delivery is preferred.
Education
Degree or diploma in Visual Merchandising, Retail Design, Interior Design or a related field.
