Hermès seeks Visual Merchandising Assistant Manager in Seoul. 6-month contract role overseeing boutique displays, staff training, and visual standards execution.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create and execute visual merchandising displays across all product categories with creative cross-category opportunities
- Roll out seasonal merchandise in boutiques according to global visual merchandising guidelines and brand standards
- Implement high-impact product displays emphasizing creativity and quality in alignment with global guidelines
- Train visual merchandising ambassadors and store teams on visual standards to ensure consistent execution
- Prepare, translate, and deliver visual merchandising guidelines, training materials, and perception updates via email and on-site visits
- Manage point-of-sale material development, inventory, and deployment for new and replenishment initiatives
- Oversee store project visual merchandising requirements including PLV ordering, zoning plans, and spatial planning
- Support execution of visual merchandising strategies for special events, seasonal launches, press presentations, and promotional activations
- Manage store floral arrangements and environmental aesthetics
- Provide regular reporting including in-store photography, progress assessments, best practices documentation, and strategic recommendations
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of professional visual merchandising experience in luxury retail
- Demonstrated track record of delivering results in visual merchandising initiatives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent)
- Strong visual sensibility for color, composition, detail, and display aesthetics
- Knowledge of materials and design principles
- Excellent written and spoken English

5–10 years of professional experience in visual merchandising, ideally within luxury retail or branded boutique environments.
Education
