Hermès International in Paris seeks a Visual Merchandising Assistant (6-month internship) to support PLV, 3D design and store rollouts starting Sep 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Concept & Store POS (PLV) Visual Merchandising Manager on creative and operational projects related to product presentation and in-store communication.
- Contribute to the development of new point-of-sale materials: collect market needs, produce 3D designs and technical drawings, follow prototype production with suppliers and monitor project schedules.
- Prepare deployment materials and documentation for the retail network: write usage guidelines and technical specifications, collect feedback from markets and supervise local installations.
- Draft training documentation for new furniture and store concepts and follow implementation across subsidiaries.
- Collect, analyse and synthesize feedback on furniture and service spaces to define actionable improvement plans.
- Conduct regular competitive intelligence and benchmarking on visual merchandising topics (product presentation, POS materials, new technologies) and support internal communications.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Design or Interior Architecture programme (4th or 5th year of study).
- At least one prior experience or internship in retail design project management, scenography, product presentation or visual merchandising.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong observational, analytical and synthesis skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Reliable, rigorous, team-oriented and positive attitude.

At least one initial experience (internship or project) in retail design, scenography, visual merchandising or retail project coordination is required.
Education
Currently pursuing a degree in Design or Interior Architecture (4th or 5th year level).
