Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, workshops, and stakeholder analysis to gather, validate, and translate business requirements into concrete user journeys, wireframes, and functional specifications
- Define personas, user journeys, information architecture, flow diagrams, and key screen specifications to secure design governance before development
- Facilitate design workshops and restitution sessions with business stakeholders to prioritize needs and transform broad requirements into actionable, comprehensible user experiences
- Integrate accessibility, sustainable design principles, responsiveness, and consistency with company IT standards from the earliest design phases
- Design wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and detailed UI specifications to validate concepts before development and ensure clear developer handoff
- Produce responsive interfaces across desktop, tablet, and mobile formats, tailored to field operations, artisanal work, retail environments, and internal support functions
- Create clear, ergonomic, and restrained screen designs optimized for Power Apps, SharePoint, SPFx/React, Microsoft 365, and internal web applications
- Document functional and graphical specifications detailing expected behaviors, screen states, components, display rules, error messaging, and microcopy
- Support development teams during implementation to ensure accurate translation of designs into operational interfaces, maintaining pragmatic and iterative approaches
- Contribute to the development, expansion, and dissemination of the Small Apps Design System by capitalizing on reusable components, patterns, best practices, templates, and guidance
- Harmonize interfaces across projects—particularly SharePoint and Power Platform applications—to strengthen visual consistency, maintainability, and perceived quality
- Document design decisions and contribute to team maturity through design guides, checklists, Figma templates, accessibility principles, UX writing guidelines, and best practices
- Collaborate closely with project managers, developers, architects, cybersecurity teams, business stakeholders, and end-users in short cycles of conception, validation, development, and refinement
- Participate in user acceptance testing, feedback collection, and continuous improvement phases to evolve applications and foster user adoption
- Monitor UX/UI practices, low-code/no-code usage patterns, evolving design tools, and emerging technologies relevant to the team's work
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Bac+5) in UX/UI Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, Ergonomics, or equivalent discipline
- Minimum 2 years of professional UX/UI design experience, ideally on business applications, internal tools, collaborative platforms, or B2B/B2E environments
- Expert proficiency with Figma: components, auto-layout, variants, prototyping, design tokens, shared libraries, and collaborative file management
- Solid command of UX research methodologies: user interviews, workshops, personas, journey mapping, usage mapping, prioritization, user testing, and pain-point analysis
- Strong ability to design simple, responsive, accessible interfaces suited to internal business applications, intranet portals, and collaborative tools
- Capacity to produce immediately actionable deliverables: wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, UI specifications, guidelines, and presentation materials
- Good foundational knowledge of ergonomic principles, digital accessibility standards, and eco-design
- Understanding of front-end development constraints and Microsoft 365 environments—particularly SharePoint, Power Platform, SPFx/React, and Fluent UI—with ability to communicate effectively with developers
- Proficiency with complementary graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalents) for ad-hoc production of icons, visuals, and project-specific identity elements
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with diverse business teams, listen actively, clarify needs, rephrase requirements, and translate them into tangible, understandable journeys
- Strong pragmatism: capacity to design efficiently, test, iterate, and make trade-offs between UX ambition, technical constraints, timelines, and long-term maintainability
- Autonomy, rigor, analytical thinking, and ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a dynamic project environment
