Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound transport flows ensuring compliance with regulatory, environmental and safety constraints.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (commercial teams, after-sales, retail planners, subsidiaries) and external transport & logistics partners to optimise operational flows.
- Support implementation of new transport schemes (new carriers, route optimisation, carrier changes) and draft/update operational procedures.
- Manage transport claims and incidents in collaboration with Insurance and Security functions.
- Monitor contractual KPIs, analyse root causes and follow up corrective action plans with partners.
- Prepare and support quarterly carrier quality reviews and consolidate monthly activity reports.
- Contribute to transport-related projects including carbon footprint reduction studies and coordination of procurement consultations/RFPs.
- Assist with transport carrier audits in conjunction with the Security department.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or holding a higher education degree (Bac +4/5) in transport, logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with international trade rules and transport regulation (Incoterms, shipping documentation).
- Strong analytical rigour, responsiveness and a client-service mindset with collaborative team orientation.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Genuine interest in environmental issues and sustainable logistics.
Skills
Experience
Open to beginners; suitable for students in a Bac+4/5 programme (transport, logistics or supply chain). Prior internships in transport or logistics are advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Master's level (Bac+4/5) in transport, logistics, supply chain management or equivalent; currently enrolled in an apprenticeship or similar programme.
