Hermès Taiwan seeks Training & Development Manager to lead retail training initiatives, budget management, and staff development programs in Taipei.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct training needs assessments across the retail network and develop an annual training plan tailored to employee development requirements and organizational goals
- Prepare and monitor the training budget to ensure adequate resource allocation for planned initiatives
- Design, implement, and track the Annual Training Plan in collaboration with the Head of Retail, ensuring compliance with calendar and budget parameters
- Manage external training suppliers and vendors to guarantee timely delivery and quality adherence to contractual commitments
- Evaluate internal and external training programs through satisfaction surveys and practical application assessments to maintain quality standards
- Develop and deliver product training, sales techniques, soft skills, and corporate culture courses leveraging internal and external resources
- Design and coordinate training content for the worldwide retail network to address regional and location-specific needs
- Prepare and facilitate international integration programs to foster corporate cohesion across global teams
- Establish performance goals, organize training activities, provide direction, and manage staff relations to support professional development and performance optimization
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a training or learning and development function within the retail sector
- Proven expertise in designing and facilitating both technical and soft skills training workshops
- Proficiency in training budget management and financial planning
- Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with external training providers and vendors
- Experience with training evaluation methodologies and quality assurance processes
- Certified Trainer certification or equivalent professional credential (preferred)
- Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous

Minimum 5 years in a training or human resources function within retail, luxury, or high-end consumer goods. Experience designing and delivering product training, sales techniques, and organizational development programs. Proven track record managing training budgets, external training suppliers, and coordinating programs across multiple store locations or regions.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience. Certification in training, instructional design, or adult learning is preferred.
