Hermès Parfum & Beauté — Trade Marketing Project Manager in Paris. Permanent full‑time role leading 360° retail and e‑retail activations for beauty and fragrance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, present and negotiate annual online and offline activation plans with Key Account/Responsible Grands Comptes to align commercial and brand objectives.
- Design, implement and monitor 360° retail and e‑retail activations adapted to each retail partner, ensuring excellence of execution across all touchpoints and measurement of effectiveness.
- Lead cross‑functional projects tied to the marketing plan and act as the voice of trade marketing with internal teams and external agencies/providers.
- Identify and seize qualitative promotional opportunities that drive revenue while reinforcing brand positioning and differentiation versus competitors.
- Coordinate with the digital project manager to build and execute e‑retail plans for assigned accounts.
- Construct, track and adjust client marketing budgets in line with annual priorities and profitable growth objectives.
- Recommend and manage forecasts for activation drivers (samples, GWP, POS displays, gifting) to optimise resource allocation.
- Organise and participate in internal and external events (seminars, retailer conventions) as required.
- Oversee and challenge suppliers to ensure compliance with budget, brand image and CSR/RSE requirements.
- Share best practices identified through field visits and competitive monitoring.
- Supervise and mentor the trade team intern.
Qualifications
- Master's degree (Bac+5) from a business school or university.
- Minimum 3 years' proven experience in trade marketing or operational marketing, preferably in beauty, fragrance or a selective luxury environment.
- Strong commercial orientation with demonstrated ability to influence sales teams without direct line management.
- Solid knowledge of merchandising and visibility levers (PLV, podiums) and retail activation mechanics.
- Organised, methodical and rigorous, with excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability and persuasive ability.
- Analytical mindset with a strong focus on customer experience and commercial performance.
- Fluent English.
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience
Minimum three years of hands‑on experience in trade marketing or operational marketing, ideally within fragrance, cosmetics or high‑image luxury products sold through selective retail networks and e‑retail channels.
Education
Master's degree (Bac+5) from a business school or university, preferably with a marketing or commerce focus.
