Hermès Trade Marketing Assistant internship, Paris 8th. Six-month full-time opportunity supporting trade operations across France Benelux.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute trade marketing promotional operations across French and Benelux retail channels in collaboration with product managers
- Support development and implementation of annual trade marketing plans for all retail banners, including physical stores and e-commerce platforms
- Manage promotional operation rollout to point-of-sale locations, including RFP coordination, POS material development, performance target calculation, and results analysis
- Execute promotional operations on retail and pure-play e-commerce sites, including animation development, digital team briefs, and asset distribution
- Develop and manage CRM operations including direct mail and email campaigns
- Create and maintain sales force support tools including trade playbooks and animation summaries
- Monitor budgets and coordinate logistics with external suppliers
- Conduct field visits and competitive intelligence gathering
- Deploy fragrance and beauty visual merchandising strategy across dedicated retail spaces (Le Bon Marché, BHV, Hermès boutiques)
- Organize and execute sales activation events during major launches and peak retail periods
- Manage external vendor relationships and coordinate internal stakeholder engagement
- Ensure brand image consistency across all retail environments
- Develop and deploy retailer-specific merchandising projects including shelving displays and bespoke installations
- Prepare, organize, and execute regional conventions and events
- Manage the Parfum Notes newsletter distribution across the subsidiary
- Design and implement sales associate engagement and mobilization programs
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a business school, IAE, university, or equivalent programme
- Structured thinking with demonstrated aesthetic sensibility and intellectual curiosity
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with precision, organization, and autonomy
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability when collaborating with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
Experience
A minimum of six months of prior experience in a related function, ideally in operational marketing or trade marketing, is strongly preferred. Beginners are accepted.
Education
Currently enrolled student in a business school, IAE, university programme, or equivalent qualification.
