Role & Responsibilities

  • Set up machines and tooling to manufacture models, prototypes and small production runs with micrometric precision.
  • Perform first‑level maintenance on production equipment: diagnose faults and carry out straightforward repairs and adjustments.
  • Participate in the design, adjustment, upkeep, tracking and management of tooling and fixtures.
  • Apply and enforce safety and environmental protection procedures on the shop floor.
  • Prepare and contribute to technical documentation and incident reports.
  • Report problems, trace process deviations and propose corrective actions using available shopfloor tools.
  • Request and formalise orders for consumables and equipment required by the service.

Qualifications

  • Two‑year technical diploma (Bac+2) or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' professional experience in turning and milling (conventional and CNC).
  • Demonstrable precision and attention to detail (tolerances to ±0.01 mm).
  • Autonomous, rigorous and able to work collaboratively while proposing process improvements.
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks and conversational programming; familiarity with ISO programming (Mastercam) is strongly preferred.
