Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, attentive payment and checkout service in keeping with Hermès standards and the multicultural clientele of the George V boutique.
- Perform full cash‑desk duties including opening and closing the register and daily cash reconciliation.
- Process transactions across payment methods and manage bank authorisations when required.
- Execute tax‑free (détaxe) procedures for international customers accurately and in compliance with group rules.
- Apply the group’s prescribed cash‑handling and point‑of‑sale procedures; maintain related administrative records.
- Advise and guide clients courteously on products, services and store protocols to enhance the in‑store experience.
- Contribute to team life by onboarding and supporting colleagues, sharing enthusiasm and providing peer assistance when needed.
Qualifications
- Associate degree (Bac +2) or equivalent vocational qualification, or demonstrable equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a cashier, checkout or retail sales role; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Fluent English (mastery of English is indispensable).
- Proven numeracy and basic accounting familiarity; comfortable handling figures and reconciliations.
- Polished presentation, clear articulation and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, service‑oriented, rigorous and adaptable team player.

Experience
At least 1 year of experience in cashiering or retail sales, ideally within a premium or luxury retail environment.
Education
Associate degree (Bac+2) or equivalent vocational qualification; equivalent proven professional experience accepted.
