Hermès Manufacturing internship in Val de Fontenay: 6-month technical project coordination role for engineering students specializing in mechanical design and CAD.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and establish design and dimensioning standards by product type in coordination with engineering project leads across multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring compliance with production capabilities and aesthetic specifications
- Launch and monitor testing protocols on production sites to qualify new product designs and validate manufacturing feasibility
- Administer SolidWorks PDM system at the group level, including definition and implementation of rules for creation and modification of standardized design elements
- Manage the group's component library and design standards library, overseeing permissions, contributor groups, and workflow continuity
- Document and communicate design standards and technical specifications across the organization
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an engineering school with specialization in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficiency with SolidWorks CAD software
- Knowledge of metallic component design and manufacturing processes
- Understanding of PDM systems and design workflow management
