Hermès seeks a Technical Development Project Manager for a 6-month contract in Limoges. Lead product development from feasibility to production launch.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead new product development from technical feasibility assessment to production launch, ensuring compliance with regulatory, cost, and quality requirements
- Propose creative alternatives to resolve technical or budgetary constraints in collaboration with suppliers, creative teams, and site operations
- Support production and quality teams in addressing on-site technical challenges and process improvements
- Collaborate with product development teams based in Pantin (Paris region) and coordinate with artistic direction across Hermès métiers
- Structure project tracking through scorecards, dashboards, and weekly reporting mechanisms
- Validate the technical, economic, and quality conformity of each development project
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (généraliste or ceramics specialization) or equivalent qualification at Bac + 5 or Bac + 8 level
- Demonstrated knowledge of materials science and ceramics applications
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with structured approach to project management
- Fluent English proficiency (working level)
