Hermès Sellier — Technical Development Manager, Fashion Jewelry in Pantin: lead technical development, prototyping and industrialisation for Hermès accessories.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end technical development of fashion jewelry collections from design intent to market launch, ensuring product functionality, durability and Hermès quality standards.
  • Manage and coach a technical team of three, defining priorities, allocating resources and establishing individual development plans.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (Studio de Création, Bureau d’Études, Collection) and internal/external partners to secure timely delivery of prototypes and production launches for events, pre-collections and shows.
  • Design, implement and maintain development processes, tools and project methodologies (including PLM and performance indicators) to control timelines, risks and product quality.
  • Pilot supplier relationships and industrialisation activities: consolidate technical alignment, run performance reviews and contribute to supplier improvement plans.
  • Build and monitor KPI dashboards, master schedules and budgets; formalize risk inputs and post-launch reviews to drive continuous improvement.
  • Embed regulatory, sustainability and innovation requirements into product development and industrialisation choices.

Qualifications

  • Advanced technical degree (Bac+5/Master or equivalent) in engineering, materials science, product design or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years' professional experience in product development and industrialisation, with demonstrable ability to manage technically complex projects.
  • Experience in the luxury sector or in an industry with equivalent quality and craftsmanship expectations.
  • Proven leadership and people-management skills, with the capacity to mobilize cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to present reasoned recommendations and influence decision-making.
  • Strong organisational rigour, attention to detail and resilience under time constraints.
