Hermès Horizons internship: Technical Development Assistant Engineer, Pantin. 6-month role in design, prototyping, and product development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in technical development of new projects and collections in collaboration with design, project management, workshop, and logistics teams
- Define functional and technical product specifications and requirements
- Assess project feasibility and identify alternative solutions
- Create and refine 3D models and 2D technical drawings using CAD software
- Prepare for and participate in product and collection development meetings
- Formalize production specifications following validation of pre-production samples
- Coordinate prototype and pre-series flows with workshop and external partners
- Support the development cycle from conception through pre-series validation
Qualifications
- Enrolled in an Engineering School program or equivalent engineering curriculum
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software (Solidworks and/or AutoCAD)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong technical, product, and finishing sensibility
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across diverse typologies
- Fluent English for communication with European suppliers
- Ability to travel as required

Experience
First experience in technical development within a technically demanding environment is advantageous; however, beginners are accepted.
Education
Currently enrolled in an Engineering School or equivalent engineering program.
