Hermès Horizons in Pantin seeks a 6‑month Technical Development & Quality Intern (starting Sept 2026) to support product qualification and quality reviews.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support project reviews during collection development to identify and anticipate quality risks for new products.
- Draft and define qualification plans for bespoke projects and components.
- Coordinate and monitor laboratory testing for raw materials, semi-finished and finished products.
- Accompany project phases from production start-up to achievement of quality objectives, including preparation of qualification dossiers.
- Participate in qualification of prototypes and pre‑series for components and finished products.
- Produce and maintain control plans and the defect tracking database for components and finished products.
- Ensure regulatory compliance for projects and liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to convey finished-product expectations.
- Undertake on-site visits to production facilities and logistics centres as required and support evolution of logistics sampling protocols.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an engineering programme (Bac+4/Bac+5) or equivalent; technical specialisation (materials, industrial, mechanical or product engineering) preferred.
- Prior professional experience (first 6‑month internship) is a plus.
- Demonstrated analytical and synthesis skills with a results orientation.
- Comfortable applying problem‑solving methodologies within a project team.
- Strong interpersonal skills for transversal collaboration with suppliers, internal clients and quality teams.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (French).
- Reactive, adaptable, curious and proactive with a strong interest in technical excellence.

Experience
Enrollment in an engineering school at master level (Bac+4/5) is required; prior internship experience (6 months) in industry or product development is a plus.
Education
Currently pursuing a Master-level engineering degree (Bac+4/Bac+5) or equivalent.
