Hermès Maroquinerie-Sellerie seeks a Master's-level intern to support its Design Office (Bureau d'Etudes) in Pantin with logistics and technical project coordination. Reporting to the Head of Technical Development Projects, the intern will manage leather and metallic material stock, finished product inventory, archive systems, and HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) initiatives across a 20-person technical team responsible for developing bags, luggage, and small leather goods manufactured by French craftspeople.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage soft material stock (leather and textiles) via ERP system, including availability analysis, delivery coordination, and lead-time optimization
- Monitor metallic material inventory, track inbound/outbound flows, and optimize stock levels
- Conduct comprehensive metallic material inventory audits across the Design Office
- Create and integrate finished products and prototypes into the ERP system
- Track physical and digital workflows for samples, prototypes, and design gallery items
- Prepare mockups and samples for design review presentations
- Develop continuous improvement initiatives for archive management and workflows
- Maintain and organize two archive locations
- Establish and implement HSE protocols tailored to the Design Office environment
- Oversee machinery park maintenance and usage compliance
- Design and deploy HSE performance indicators
- Communicate and disseminate HSE best practices to craftspeople and support functions
Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent (Bac+4/5)
- Interest in logistics and supply chain management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities
- Demonstrated proactivity and team collaboration
