Role & Responsibilities
- Drive achievement of monthly and annual sales targets; monitor performance and implement corrective actions to meet objectives.
- Own the sales performance and target mix of a designated product department; coach team members to maximise conversion and average transaction value.
- Analyse sales and inventory data to identify trends, best-sellers and slow-moving stock; propose and execute concrete improvement plans.
- Design and deploy in-store incentive and promotional programmes; evaluate effectiveness and refine for continuous improvement.
- Ensure strict compliance with group stock-control procedures; partner with operations on regular stocktakes and investigate discrepancies or losses.
- Manage merchandising and visual presentation for the assigned department to align with the product sales plan and group guidelines.
- Maintain shop displays and the boutique environment to luxury retail standards, suggesting VM adjustments to accelerate sell-through of aging inventory.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in a boutique retail environment with responsibility for departmental sales and staff coaching.
- Strong numerical literacy with ability to analyse sales and inventory reports and translate insight into action.
- Sound understanding of stock control procedures, loss-prevention and retail reconciliation processes.
