Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage tax filing and compliance for assigned French entities, including corporate income tax calculations, VAT reporting, transfer pricing documentation, and local tax obligations
  • Oversee tax closing procedures and review of tax compliance filings (liasses fiscales) for portfolio companies
  • Monitor tax credits and provision for current income tax exposure across the perimeter
  • Administer tax group integration agreements, including integrated tax consolidation compliance
  • Provide internal tax advisory to operational, financial, and legal leadership on fiscal implications of projects, transactions, and business operations
  • Support e-invoicing and e-reporting implementations while maintaining compliance with evolving indirect taxation regulations
  • Conduct analysis and recommendations for mergers and acquisitions, with particular focus on tax-efficient structuring
  • Review and validate transfer pricing policies and documentation for entities within the assigned scope
  • Manage tax audits and disputes in liaison with external advisors and tax authorities
  • Monitor and report on group-wide tax compliance obligations including Country-by-Country Reporting (CBCR) and OECD Pillar Two provisions
  • Disseminate tax policy updates and provide training to non-specialist stakeholders on tax matters affecting their domains

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in tax law, business law, or finance with tax specialization (Master 2 Fiscalité, DJCE, or equivalent business school program with tax focus); CAPA (Certificat d'Aptitude à la Profession d'Avocat) is a plus
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in French taxation acquired through corporate, law firm, or audit firm settings, with mandatory prior corporate experience
  • Advanced command of principal French tax domains: corporate income tax (IS), value-added tax (VAT), local taxation, transfer pricing, and withholding taxes
  • Thorough knowledge of French tax closing mechanics and compliance filing procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, evaluate, and secure complex tax positions
  • Working knowledge of transfer pricing regulations and international tax principles
  • Familiarity with international tax compliance frameworks including OECD Pillar Two and Country-by-Country Reporting requirements
  • Professional-level English proficiency (both oral and written) required
  • Strong organizational skills with capacity to prioritize effectively across multiple stakeholder demands
