Hermès International in Paris seeks a Sustainable Construction Assistant (Apprenticeship) — 12‑month apprenticeship starting Sep 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Responsible for Sustainable Construction in evolving and operationalising the 'harmonie' environmental referential applied to real estate projects.
- Contribute to extending the referential scope to include assets and building operations; assist integration of operational performance monitoring.
- Participate in transversal projects (biodiversity, circular economy, materials, resilience) and scout circular or eco‑designed solutions.
- Co‑design and prototype ergonomic improvements and user‑experience enhancements for tools and processes; carry out tests and collect feedback.
- Co‑develop practical tools and guides (dashboards, templates, quick‑reference sheets, user supports) to enable operational teams' autonomy.
- Support the 'referent Construction Materials' activities within Oïkos Lab: materials watch, benchmarking and analysis of circular materials solutions.
- Identify emerging needs related to occupational health & safety and evolving workplace uses; help integrate the house's social model into real estate practices.
- Report progress to the Responsible Construction Durable and share status updates with the relevant directions within the Group Real Estate Directorate.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Bac+4/5 programme (engineering school, business school or university) in a discipline relevant to construction, real estate or sustainability.
- Strong interest in sustainable construction, real estate and corporate social responsibility (RSE).
- English proficiency at C1 level.
- Good interpersonal skills, curiosity, proactivity and reliability.
- Solid command of Microsoft Office; appetite for digital tools and data analysis is appreciated.
- Open to candidates with disabilities (recruitment inclusive).

Education
Master-level studies (Bac+4/5) in engineering, business school or university, with coursework or specialisation in construction, real estate, sustainability or related fields.
