Hermès seeks a Sustainability Project Manager for a 6-month contract in Pantin, supporting the Silk & Accessories division's ESG roadmap and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyse, and consolidate carbon impact metrics for each craft and identify decarbonisation levers
- Conduct regulatory surveillance on evolving sustainability legislation (AGEC, ESPR, PPWR, RDUE) and support craft teams with compliance guidance
- Coordinate internal data collection for Lifecycle Assessments (LCA) and ensure consistency with Group commitments
- Lead and participate in working groups focused on product repairability, durability, and circularity—including upcycling and single-use plastic reduction projects
- Sensitise design and creation teams to ecodesign principles and integrate sustainability into product development processes
- Develop and disseminate internal communications materials supporting sustainability initiatives
- Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with the division's sustainable development roadmap and corporate objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BAC+5) in engineering or Master's 2 qualification
- Prior internship, apprenticeship, or contract experience in related sustainability or regulatory compliance domains
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with query tools and business intelligence (BI) platforms
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills across diverse stakeholders; comfort with presentations and attention to detail
- Genuine interest in sustainability challenges with capacity to engage teams around these priorities

Minimum 1 year of prior experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, or related domains through internship, apprenticeship, or contract roles.
Education
Bachelor's degree (BAC+5) from an engineering school or Master's 2 qualification in a related field (sustainability, environmental science, industrial engineering, or equivalent).
