Hermès seeks a Supply Planning Systems Expert on a full-time, permanent contract in Pantin, with occasional travel to production sites in France. Reporting to the Supply Chain department lead, the role supports and evolves planning-related information systems, including APS and ERP, and requires at least 8 years of Supply Chain experience and professional written and spoken English.
Role & Responsibilities
- Master planning business processes, including PIC/PMT, forecasting, commercial scheduling, and constrained PDP/PDA, and maintain functional and technical expertise in the relevant APS and ERP systems.
- Participate in the internal and external application referent community to develop functional and technical expertise in the information system.
- Own and maintain documentation for APS and ERP applications.
- Actively contribute to corrective and application maintenance for APS and ERP systems.
- Contribute to the evolution of business processes and the information system, in line with business strategy.
- Propose system evolution scenarios aligned with business directions, operating models, and target processes.
- Implement configurations and models in the APS.
- Participate in defining tests and conducting business acceptance testing.
- Make effective use of state-of-the-art capabilities in collaboration with enterprise architecture and application vendors.
- Help maintain the functional and technical knowledge needed to ensure the sustainability of the APS and ERP information system.
- Organize the development of support teams’ skills in APS and ERP applications.
- Maintain the quality of information system operations.
- Act as the IT department’s primary point of contact for all stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent master's-level qualification (Bac+5).
- At least 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, with strong functional and operational knowledge of planning.
- Experience contributing to large-scale planning projects on the business or IT side.
- Experience with APS configuration and modeling, plus a good understanding of technical architectures.
- Interest in innovative topics is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills, curiosity, and the ability to synthesize and analyze complex ideas.
- Dynamic, communicative, and strongly service-oriented.
- Professional written and spoken English.
