The role is with Hermès Maroquinerie et Sellerie, the leather-goods house within the Hermès group, renowned for exceptional craftsmanship, artisanal production and high-end luxury leather accessories. The division operates in close cooperation with the Groupe IT organisation to deliver robust information systems that support manufacturing, planning and retail operations.

Role & Responsibilities

• Own and master end-to-end planning processes (PIC/PMT, forecasting, commercial cadence, constrained PDP/PDA) and maintain deep functional and technical expertise of the relevant information systems (APS, ERP).
• Act as a reference within the internal and external application community to cultivate and share domain expertise.
• Ensure and maintain comprehensive application documentation for APS and ERP modules.
• Participate in corrective maintenance and application support activities for planning systems.
• Contribute to the evolution of planning processes and the information system in line with the business strategy; propose coherent scenarios for change.
• Implement configurations and modelling within the APS to reflect target processes.
• Define test strategies and participate in business acceptance testing and recipes.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture and software vendors to leverage state-of-the-art capabilities.
• Preserve and transfer functional and technical knowledge to ensure long-term stability of the planning system.
• Design and deliver upskilling for support teams on APS and ERP applications.
• Maintain overall operational quality of the information system and act as the primary DSI interlocutor with business stakeholders.
• Occasional travel to production sites in France to support deployments and validations.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent Master’s degree (Bac+5).
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in supply chain with solid, operational knowledge of planning.
• Proven participation in large-scale planning projects, either from the business side or within IT.
• Demonstrable experience with APS (configuration and modelling) and good understanding of technical architectures.
• Strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity and ability to synthesise complex subjects.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, proactive communicator and strong client-service orientation.
• Professional written and spoken English.

At least 8 years of progressive experience in supply chain with a strong operational focus on planning; track record of involvement in significant planning system projects and hands-on APS configuration and modelling.

Education

Engineering diploma or equivalent (Master’s level / Bac+5).
