Beyrand (Hermès) in Saint-Just-le-Martel seeks a Supply Chain Engineer (fixed-term) to coordinate inventories and support the industrial transfer.
Role & Responsibilities
- Report to the Supply Chain Manager and act as the operational link between supply chain, production and quality teams.
- Coordinate production flows and monitor work-in-progress related to equipment qualification on the new Couzeix site (e.g., ovens, printing machines).
- Support continuity of operations throughout the industrial transfer: attend relocation meetings and workshops, escalate supply-chain blockers, and assist implementation of logistics, ERP configuration and factory layout tasks.
- Plan, coordinate and supervise cycle and full inventories for both printing and porcelain decoration activities; prepare count meetings with workshop managers and define counting/data-entry resources.
- Lead Gemba Walks and follow through on corrective action plans; liaise with internal control and management control to ensure inventory integrity.
- Contribute to ERP-related activities and local rollout tasks, ensuring alignment with central planning and corporate procedures.
Qualifications
- Master's degree (Bac+5) — general engineering or equivalent with a clear interest in supply chain/industrial operations.
- Practical knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrated rigor, proactivity and autonomy, with an ability to work cross-functionally and remain close to the shop floor.
- Strong interpersonal skills, analytical mindset and the ability to synthesise and escalate operational issues.
- Proven ability to drive improvements and propose pragmatic solutions during complex industrial transitions.

Experience
Approximately 2+ years of professional experience in supply chain, production planning or industrial operations, ideally within a manufacturing environment; prior exposure to relocation or site transfer projects is an advantage.
Education
Master's degree (Bac+5) in engineering or equivalent with supply chain orientation.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Saint-Just-le-Martel, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France, with easy access to Limoges.
