Hermès — Pantin: Supply Chain Coordinator responsible for planning metal materials procurement, production planning and supplier performance for Maroquinerie.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage procurement of metal materials for the 'Internet des Objets' product perimeter, ensuring availability to meet customer demand.
  • Define short- and mid-term supply plans (up to 6 months) and participate in the PIC (Plan Industriel et Commercial) process for metal inputs.
  • Control and optimise metal material stock levels and rotations; animate CAP (Coordination Appro Planif) and stock review meetings with business stakeholders.
  • Plan and pilot production on assigned manufacturing sites; ensure delivery in required quantities, quality and on budget.
  • Manage supplier portfolio and purchase order lifecycle: create orders, follow confirmations, chase delays and resolve disputes.
  • Monitor supplier service level and performance; coordinate cross-functional corrective actions with purchasing, quality, development and production.
  • Manage short-term production capacities (8–12 weeks): organise production meetings, identify risks, define and implement containment actions.
  • Define and lead supply reliability and continuous improvement initiatives across suppliers, manufacturing sites and internal teams.
  • Maintain and improve perimeter information systems: master data, M3, SWB, Supplier Portal, Cognos, Power BI and Tableau Reader.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree (Bac+5) in engineering, business or equivalent with a specialisation in logistics, planning or procurement.
  • Minimum 3 years' professional experience in materials procurement and production planning within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience coordinating projects and cross-functional stakeholders (suppliers, purchasing, quality, industrialisation, production).
  • Strong numerical rigour, proactivity and problem-solving capacity; resilient and adaptable in changing environments.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and drive actions to closure.

Experience

At least 3 years' experience in procurement/approvisionnement and planning within an industrial or manufacturing context, either centrally or on a production site; demonstrable exposure to supplier management and production scheduling.
