The intern will support the supply chain team across production planning, procurement, and distribution logistics. Responsibilities include monitoring production adherence to detailed schedules, identifying delays and bottlenecks, tracking supplier performance and KPIs, managing consolidated weekly supply updates, overseeing product distribution to logistics centers, and managing consumables inventory including packaging and operational supplies. Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor production plan adherence and identify delays, bottlenecks, or capacity constraints for weekly production meetings
- Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure planning and supply chain process performance
- Manage supplier relationships, including direct contact and coordination for specific procurement activities
- Build and maintain supply plans, tracking service levels, lead times, and supplier performance metrics
- Coordinate product distribution instructions to logistics centers and manage logistics interfaces
- Oversee consumables management (packaging and notices), including budget tracking, purchase orders, on-site distribution, and inventory monitoring
- Prepare and distribute weekly consolidated supply chain status reports to stakeholders
Qualifications
- General engineering degree with supply chain specialization
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated interest in information systems and technology
- Understanding of supply chain constraints, demand forecasting, and capacity planning
