Hermès Cuirs Précieux seeks Strategic Projects Manager for Tanneries du Puy in Le Puy-en-Velay. Lead industrial transformation and facility development initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and articulate the industrial vision and medium-to-long-term strategy for the Tanneries du Puy, identifying development opportunities and anticipating future industrial requirements
- Pilot a portfolio of strategic, high-value projects encompassing infrastructure renovation, platform modernization, and operational control improvements
- Define project objectives, scope, success criteria, and governance structures; chair decision-making bodies and ensure alignment with corporate strategy
- Challenge operational requirements and develop innovative, sustainable solutions through mobilization of internal and external expertise
- Conduct risk, impact, and feasibility analyses to recommend optimal solutions to senior leadership
- Animate a multidisciplinary network spanning Production, Maintenance, Engineering, HSE, Quality, HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and IT
- Oversee engineering firms, consulting partners, and external contractors; federate cross-functional teams around shared objectives
- Build business cases and investment budgets; evaluate ROI and monitor allocated capital envelopes
- Lead organizational change initiatives stemming from project implementations, ensuring team engagement and appropriation of new structures and infrastructure
Qualifications
- Master's degree (Bac+5 equivalent) in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in industrial transformation project leadership
- Proven track record in operational management within a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Demonstrated expertise in coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder projects without direct hierarchical authority
- Strong experience in cross-functional program management
- Manufacturing or luxury goods industry experience highly valued

Minimum 10 years of professional experience in industrial project management and operational leadership, with significant track record in transformational initiatives, capital planning, and multi-site or complex manufacturing environments. Successful experience managing projects requiring coordination across diverse functional areas without direct reporting lines is essential.
Education
