Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and implement commercial strategies to enhance boutique performance and monitor key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with the Retail Director to ensure effective communication with headquarters regarding store and team development.
  • Oversee buying strategies for the boutique's departments, supporting the team with market analysis and client feedback.
  • Exemplify Hermès values and culture, fostering a positive team environment and promoting brand integrity.
  • Lead recruitment strategies and manage the recruitment process in collaboration with HR.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and identify training needs to support team development.
  • Encourage the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and enhance client engagement.
  • Supervise stock levels, inventory planning, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure accurate transaction processing and adherence to Hermès policies and procedures.
  • Support internal audit processes and ensure team compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in economics or management.
  • Fluency in Italian and English; proficiency in a third language is advantageous.
  • Extensive management experience, preferably in luxury retail, with international exposure considered a plus.

Proficiency in Excel and IT tools. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Analytical skills with a strategic mindset. Adaptability and situational intelligence. Customer service orientation and hospitality skills.

Experience

A robust career in management roles within luxury retail environments, with a preference for international experience.

Education

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in economics or management.
