Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the customer’s first point of contact and embody the Hermès image through warmth, courtesy, elegance and simplicity.
- Greet and welcome clients on arrival and departure, ensuring every visitor feels acknowledged and comfortable.
- Manage foot traffic in and around the store, directing clients to the appropriate sales associate or floor area.
- Maintain situational awareness of team availability and communicate quickly and clearly to optimize client flow.
- Use in‑store tools to respond to client enquiries and proactively inform clients about store activity or events.
- Provide consistent hospitality from the entrance through the sales floor, maintaining the welcoming area in a clean, tidy condition.
- Approach all interactions with clients, guests and colleagues in a service-oriented, diplomatic and solution-focused manner.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a customer-facing retail environment, preferably serving a diverse and discerning clientele.
- Fluency in Danish and Dutch (spoken) — required.
- Exquisite sense of hospitality with a courteous, open and communicative demeanour.
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and the ability to remain calm and organised during busy periods.
- Professional grooming consistent with Hermès standards and a flexible, service-driven work ethic.

Experience working in a customer-facing retail role is required, ideally within high-end or luxury retail environments where discretion, refined hospitality and service etiquette are paramount.
Education
Secondary education (high school diploma) or equivalent preferred; no formal tertiary qualification required.
